Alone in a crowd, is the culmination of a year-long series made possible by a generous Hopes Corps Grant from The Seattle Office of Arts and Culture. The series explores themes of access, isolation, and inclusivity through paint, texture, post-stroke journal entries, and decoupaged medical records and braille. Focusing on everyday urban scenes, the work invites us to examine the role of personal narrative in subjective reality and question our own presuppositions about accessibility.
